FUTURUS was honored with the title of National Specialized and Innovative 'Little Giant'
Recently, the sixth batch of specialized and innovative little giant enterprises carried out by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has completed the auditing and the result has been announced. According to statistics, a total of 271 small and medium-sized enterprises in Beijing have been listed, and FUTURUS is one of them.
Since the establishment, FUTURUS has always been focusing on independent innovation. Our product line has covered WHUD, AR-HUD, full-windshield PHUD, light field MR-HUD and many other products, which can be adapted to the needs of users of different stages of L2 to L5 of autopilot for in-vehicle intelligent interaction. At present, there are two HUD production bases in Chongqing and Beijing, the capacity of Chongqing factory reaches 800,000 units/year, and the capacity of Beijing factory reaches 500,000 units/year, and both factories have passed several certifications including ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, and IATF16949. In only 25 months, FUTURUS' HUD product mass production shipments have exceeded 500,000 units, becoming the fastest growing company in the HUD industry. In 2023, FUTURUS grabbed 10.6% of the domestic HUD market share, ranked in the top 3 of the Chinese local suppliers. FUTURUS has also successfully taken 21.48% market share in the high-end market of cars above 300,000 RMB, ranking the first in the Chinese market.
FUTURUS has an advanced optical innovation, software R&D and project management team with 300+ R&D personnel, which can realize clear, detailed, distortion-free, ghosting-free and grain-free HD HUD optical design. Our self-developed AR real-time rendering engine, AR Kernel®, can realize high-frame-rate and high-performance real-time 3D rendering. Based on multi-sensor integration algorithms, spatial motion gesture capture and time-delay compensation algorithms, it can realize accurate delay control, reduce the sense of vertigo, and achieve a stable fit between the HUD display and the real driving environment. Up to now, FUTURUS has applied for a total of 535 domestic and international patents, including 340 invention patents, 61 international patents, and 102 interaction patents, which is the Chinese company with the largest number of global HUD technology patent applications in the past four years, and our number of AR-HUD patent applications ranks first in the world.
At the same time, FUTURUS also actively responds to the call of the country, continues to improve our core products and patents, and plays a leading role in stimulating the innovation vitality of the vehicle display industry chain. Not only a national high-tech enterprise, but also has been awarded a series of qualification certificates, such as Beijing Specialized and Innovative Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, Beijing Intellectual Property Rights Demonstration Units, Beijing Enterprise Science and Technology Research and Development Institutions, and Beijing Design and Innovation Centers.
